I've restored and built a variety of porches, as well as designed decks to accomodate unique spaces. I've built a porch with a framed elliptical arch, matching the arch of the transom. Another homeowner wanted me to bring back the design of the original porch on their house, but add an extra stairway on the side. Another wanted a deck to be built against an irregular corner of the house. The stairs had to come out at an angle that was different from everything else and lead down to a stone patio. I worked with a stone mason to design a railing system that would attach around the wall he was building.
